Lost

You wake up in the middle of the forest, with nothing on but trousers. You see your memory fade away. Streams of white leave your head and disappear, as if evaporating into the air. Suddenly, the ground rumbles and three treasure chests come. The rumbling stops, and a deep, airy voice starts to speak "We've been waiting for you young one. It has been 700 years since I've last seen you. The darkness has taken over all of the souls that live within the forest. It was once your job to protect them. Please, find your way to the fountain by the edge of the woods, where you will reclaim your throne as protector" The voice disappoears and you are left alone with the three chests. You walk up to open one [[Open Left Chest]] [[Open Middle Chest]] [[Open Right Chest]]

You open the left chest to find a shield. The ground starts to rumble again, and the chests disappear into the ground. The sunlight fades away, and it quickly becomes night time. The moon shines it's light through the trees and everything feels somber. Suddenly, the ground shakes. You hear trees being torn out of their roots and see them flying over head. The ground shakes again. Something is stomping the grounds, and coming closer. You see the head of a giant sway back and forth through the woods, swinging a tree trunk around in circles. He stops, sniffs the air, and look right in your direction. In a matter of seconds, he starts running at you. You don't have time to look around, the giant picks up speed with every step. There is nowhere to go but behind you. [[Turn around and run]] [[Fight (Use shield)]]

You open the middle chest to find a sword. The ground starts to rumble again, and the chests disappear into the ground. The sunlight fades away, and it quickly becomes night time. The moon shines it's light through the trees and everything feels somber. Suddenly, you hear howling coming from in between the tree. As you take a closer look, you see red eyes slowly come forward to reveal a pack of wolves, one in particular leading the pack. You look around and and see that you are surrounded, the only way out behind you. [[Turn around and run]] [[Fight (Use sword)]]

You open the right chest to find a bow and arrow. The ground starts to rumble again, and the chests disappear into the ground. The sunlight fades away, and it quickly becomes night time. The moon shines it's light through the trees and everything feels somber. Suddenly, you hear the flapping of wings. Something blocks the light of the moon for a quick second, then vanishes. A few seconds later, it flys by again. The flapping stops and as you look in the sky, you see a figure hunched over on top of the trees. As you take a closer look, you see red eyes staring back at you. All of a sudden, the figure roars and lights the trees on fire, revealing its form: a dragon. You look around and and see that you are surrounded by flames, the only way out behind you. [[Turn around and run]] [[Fight (Use Bow and Arrow)]] g

You turn your back and start running from the enemy. As you run, the trees start to move, blocking your path. You feel a tug at your feet, and realize that the trees are grabbing at you with their roots. You start sprinting faster and faster, jumping harder and harder to avoid all the obstacales. You turn around to make sure you're evading the enemy, but right when you do you stumble on a tree trunk, lose your footing, and drop your weapon. The ground devours it and it disappears. You see the enemy coming closer, closing in faster. There seems to be nothing behind it but darkness. As you keep pushing forward, you see footprints the exact size of your own. You look up and notice the tree trunk you stumbled over before. This time you jump over it, but in a matter of 30 seconds you see it again. You realize you are going in a circle, and as that truth registers in your brain, your body starts to evaporate into the air, just like your memories from beofre. You hear a laughter, and a cry, before you vanish.

You stand your ground. The dragon notices and starts flying, circling you like a vulture. The dragon aims at you and starts spitting small balls of fire at you. They miss you, and you manage to leap and dodge one. It roars and flys towards the sky A mere second later, it turns around and starts jetting towards you. It starts picking up speed. You remember that you just picked up a Bow and Arrow and take it in your hands. You have one shot. The dragon is coming closer. Its coming in faster and faster. You think of what you will do, but as you set up the bow you feel a familiar feeling coming on. You put the arrow into the string and pull it back. You aim the arrow at the dragon, but your hands are shaking. You finally steady your hands, and are able to aim at the dragons head. When the eyes turn red, you fall into a trance. Time freezes and you are taken back to your past self. You are in the air, on your own dragon, while fighting the same one you are fighting now. It looks at you as you fly by it, and it's eyes turn red. You wake up, and are still in the same position. It comes closer, but you are calmer. You pull back the arrow and wait. It gets to a distance where you can hit it, but your body won't pull the trigger. It comes down full speed, and it starts to open it's mouth. It gets to about 10 yards out and it's eyes turn red. [[Fire the arrow]] [[Turn around and run]]

You hold your sword with two hands and stand in a stance that sees vaguely familiar. You start yelling back at the wolves, and they respond by snarling and howling. Suddenly it turns silent, and the Alpha male steps forward, growling and grimacing. It jumps forward, and somehow you manage to dodge it. It jumps forward again, and this time you are able to hit it with the butt of your sword. It retreats to the rest of the pack and they all start circling you again, snarling. A mere second later, they start sprinting towards you. They start picking up speed. They are coming in faster and faster. You think of what you will do, but as you grip the sword, you feel a familiar feeling coming on. You wait, but your hands are shaking, and you drop the heavy sword. You pick up the sword, and finally steady your hands. You stare at the alpha male as you wait, and when it's eyes turn red you fall into a trance. Time freezes and you are taken back to your past self. You are on the back of your own giant wolf, while fighting the same one you are fighting now. It looks at you as you run by it, and it's eyes turn red. You wake up, and are still in the same position. They come closer, but you are calmer. They get to about 10 yards out and start to close in on you. You try to figure out which is the Alpha male but they all look the same. Then, one of their eyes turn red. [[Use Sword]] [[Turn around and run]]

You stand your ground. The giant notices and stomping, moving side to side like a wrestler The giant aims at you and starts hurling small tree trunks at you. They miss you, and you manage to leap and dodge one. It roars and disappears for a second. A mere second later, it turns back around and starts sprinting towards you, shaking the ground with every step. It starts picking up speed. You remember that you just picked up a Shield and take it in your left hand. The giant is coming closer. It's coming in faster and faster. You think of what you will do, but as you set up the shield, you feel a familiar feeling coming on. You put your arm into the holster and hold it up against your body. You wait, but your hands are shaking, and you drop the heavy shield. You pick up the shiled, and finally steady your hands. You stare at the giant as you wait, and When the eyes turn red you fall into a trance. Time freezes and you are taken back to your past self. You are in the air, on the shoulders of your own giant, while fighting the same one you are fighting now. It looks at you as you run by it, and it's eyes turn red. You wake up, and are still in the same position. It comes closer, but you are calmer. It gets to about 30 yards out and stops. You see it bend over to pick up something, and 3 seconds later see it's eyes turn red as it hurls a giant boulder at you. [[Stand your ground]] [[Turn around and run]]

You fire the arrow when it's eyes turn red. The arrow flies through the air and hits the dragon right between the eyes. You hear a sharp, bell like ring reverberate through the air... The dragons roars stop, and as it continues to fly towards you it's eyes change from red to black to blue As it is about to hit you, the dragon swings back up towards the sky. It flaps it's wings twice, and lands on the mound of grass next to you. "Oh master," it says, without moving it's lips. "I have waited hundreds of years to be set free from this curse. I owe you my life. From here on out, I am under your command." It bows it's head. [[Get on the Dragon]] [[Kill it anyways!]]

You get on the dragons back and starts to rise. It flaps it's wings three times before finally jetting off as fast as the speed of sound, into the sky. A mere three seconds later, it comes back down and lands next to a fountain. The fountain is beautiful; fairies float around it while lillies dance. It seems that it is daylight there, while the rest of the forest is covered in darkness. Behind the fountain is an empty throne. "Chosen one," the airy voice from before returns. "Please step forward and reclaim your throne." [[Reclaim your throne]]

As it bows it's head, you grab your shield with both hands and toss it like a frisbee at its head. This time, it bounces off. "Oh," it says. "It seems I have been mistaken." It turns around, bends it's knees and leaps towards the sky, jumping its way across the forest. As you watch it go, you notice the moon turn black. The trees start to shake and the light fades the forest. Laughter consumes the air. You try to run, but you trip over a tree root. You look at your hands and panick as you start to vanish.

Your new ally extends it's arm and you walk on it, over the fountain, onto the throne. As you sit, you see your memories from before start coming out of the fountian, and slowly retreat back into your head. The airy voice begins to speak agian. "Chosen one, you have passed the test of the Throne. The forest now trusts you again, and is in your control." It's voice begins to fade away. "I cannot watch you any longer. The Darkness is still very much alive, and taking up the rest of the land. Please, it is up to you now. Save us." As the voice disappears, all the memories finally enter your head. Suddenly, you are seeing flashes. Flashes of lightning, fire, fighting, horses, towns, love... You stand. "Let's go," you say to your friend. "It's time to destroy the Darkness." [[Final Chapter]]

It flies back towards the giant and hits it right between the eyes. You hear a sharp, bell like ring reverberate through the air... The giants roars stop, and as it gets thrown back. You get on the giants shoulder and it starts to rise. It bends its knees three times before finally jumping towards the sky, making its way through the forest by leaping as fast as the speed of sound. When the eyes turn red, you somehow feel content. You suddenly jump, aim the sword at the ground and stab where you are standing. Lightnight comes down from the sky, travels through the sword and pullses through the ground hitting every wolf in it's way. You hear them howl and fall to the ground. Then, each one begins to disappear while their soul travels to the alpha male. When all the soulds return, you hear a sharp, bell like ring reverberate through the air... The wolfs howling stops and you notice that it's eyes change from red to black to blue It starts walking towards you and with every step it grows in size. By the time it is standing on the mound of grass next to you, it is 10 feet tall and 10 feet wide. "Oh master," it says, without moving it's lips. "I have waited hundreds of years to be set free from this curse. I owe you my life. From here on out, I am under your command." It bows it's head. [[Get on the Wolf's back]] [[Kill it anyways!]]

You get on the wolfs back and it immediately takes off. You are barely able to hang on as; it leaps to the left and right, dodging all the trees and obstacles in it's way with ease. A mere five seconds later, it jumps and lands next to a fountain. The fountain is beautiful; fairies float around it while lillies dance. It seems that it is daylight there, while the rest of the forest is covered in darkness. Behind the fountain is an empty throne. "Chosen one," the airy voice from before returns.
